Stilvox, thanks to its founder’s over ten-year experience in the marketing of LS3 / 5A, wanted to pay tribute to these champions by giving birth to a personal version of BBC monitor with the production characteristics as close as possible to the original BBC specifications but with a touch of customization that make them even more fascinating. Everything in this new version of LS3/5A has been redone by carefully following the production specifications and techniques – including woofers and tweeters – and with the same materials as the original. This criterion has also been respected for the front grill in order to minimize the energy absorbed by the cabinet, especially in the high range. The scrupulous attention to detail produces a modern reproduction of the legendary monitor in every possible way, respecting the original sound setting but adding a magic that makes this Stilvox version truly unique. The LS3 / 5A that we offer, both in the 11 ohm version and in the 15 ohm version, is based on the original BBC monitor design. The cabinet, in real wood, houses a 5 “woofer and a 1” silk dome tweeter and is available in Rosewood and Walnut finishes. The components of the crossover have been chosen with scrupulousness and attention to obtain truly high-end musical performance from this small monitor capable of competing with any other monitor or bookshelf speaker, even two or three times higher in price. You will be surprised by how much bass the mini monitors can generate. The mid-band performance is nothing short of stunning!

Stilvox, forte dell’esperienza ultradecennale del suo fondatore nella commercializzazione di LS3/5A ha voluto rendere omaggio a questi campioni dando alla luce una versione personale di monitor BBC con le caratteristiche di produzione il più vicino possibile alle specifiche originali BBC ma con un tocco di personalizzazione che le rendono ancora più affascinanti. Tutto, in questa nostra nuova versione è stato rifatto seguendo scrupolosamente le specifiche e le tecniche di produzione – compresi woofer e tweeter – e con i medesimi materiali dell’originale. Anche per la griglia frontale è stato rispettato questo criterio in modo da minimizzare l’energia assorbita dal cabinet, specialmente nella gamma alta. La scrupolosa attenzione ai dettagli produce una riproduzione moderna del leggendario monitor in ogni modo possibile, rispettando l’impostazione sonora originale ma aggiungendo una magia che rendono questa versione Stilvox veramente unica. Le LS3/5° che noi proponiamo, sia nella versione a 11 ohm che nella versione a 15 ohm, si basa sul progetto originale del monitor BBC.
